Every child deserves a school where curiosity is encouraged, character is nurtured, and effort is noticed. That's the standard IPS has tried to hold itself to since day one.
Indraprastha Public School opened its doors in Karhera, Ghaziabad on 4 April 2011 with a simple conviction: the families of this neighbourhood deserved a quality CBSE education without sending their children across the city to get it.
The school is run by the SPS Educational & Welfare Society, and that origin still shapes how it operates — leadership is hands-on and present on campus, decisions are made close to the classroom, and growth has been deliberate rather than rushed.
Today, IPS is a full co-educational campus teaching Pre-Nursery through Class XII, with dedicated science and computer labs, sports grounds, supervised transport, and a teaching team focused on knowing every child by name.
Figures we can stand behind today — full board results and faculty counts are being compiled on our Results & Achievements page.
Our academic programmes page walks through what's taught at each stage, from Pre-Nursery through Class XII.
IPS is one of two campuses run by the Society — the other at Panchsheel Park, Sahibabad — guided by the same founding family and values.
The Society was founded to widen access to quality education in trans-Hindon Ghaziabad — the school exists to serve its students, not shareholders.
Society leadership is directly involved in day-to-day school life — not a distant board. Meet the full team on our Leadership page.
Karhera (this campus) and Panchsheel Park share curriculum standards, safety practices, and the Society's oversight. Visit the Panchsheel Park campus site →

The best way to understand a school is to walk through it. Book a visit and meet the people behind it.
